Most of our pre-k day is spent playing. When visitors come in our room, they see kids playing. I see communication, problem solving, creativity, self regulation, executive function, sharing, curiosity,counting, letter identification, writing, reading & more. Play is learning.

Our dinosaur unit is in full swing! The students are digging for dinosaur bones like paleontologists, investigating bones & fossils, & much more! The students generated a list of things they would like to learn about dinosaurs to guide our instruction. I love #prek learning!

Our #prek post office is open for business! The students love writing messages to their classmates. There is so much excitement when the letters get delivered. Watching them realize their writing carries a message is truly magic! @SarahPopek4
