Profound gratitude to H.E. President @WilliamsRuto for yet again championing this landmark Visa Waiver Agreement with our strategic partner, The Republic of Senegal!
This is more than diplomacy, it's an economic catalyst- allowing citizens of both nations visa-free travel for up to 90 days ,which directly speaks to the heart of the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA).
This waiver will definitely drive a significant surge in spontaneous and planned regional tourism-Increased arrivals generate demand for local transport, tour guides, artisans, and hospitality workers at the grassroots level. This ease of movement encourages business tourism, driving investment in hospitality and allied services.
We are ready to welcome our Senegalese brothers and sisters to experience the magic of Kenya!

Tourism is a collective journey rooted in people, technology and opportunity.
In Abuja, I called for bold steps toward regional integration, easing travel, harmonizing standards and leveraging AfCFTA for inclusive growth. Kenya, under the leadership of H.E. President @WilliamsRuto, is committed to boosting intra-African connectivity and co-creating tourism circuits that reflect our shared heritage.
Our focus remains on building a sustainable sector that creates jobs, embraces innovation and includes everyone. Together, through meaningful partnerships, we can position Africa as one seamless, thriving destination.
Accompanied H.E. The President @WilliamsRuto, PhD, CGH, and The Deputy President H .E Prof. Abraham Kithure Kindiki, EGH, at Meru National Park for the launch of KSh 950 million in Human-Wildlife Conflict compensation for FY 2024/2025.
