What happened at Cornell is horrific, and it’s a story that we’ve seen over and over and over again. A young woman brutalized, a justice system that closes the case, a school that covers the tracks, and disgusting young men whose “futures” are somehow prioritized over accountability and punishment. I stand with the former Cornell student who came forward to share her trauma, knowing how painful the process of seeking justice can be. I stand with the student journalists at the Cornell Daily Sun who were the first to shine a light on their school’s “pathetic task force.” I stand with all the college students who are rightfully protesting their universities’ failure to keep students safe on campus. As always, young people are leading the way.
Trump: "Because of tariffs, we are taking in hundreds of billions of dollars of profits. It's one of the reasons I can offer, if Republicans win the House and Senate, $5,000 to every adult. We can do it and the Democrats can't, because the Democrats don't have any income."
Horrific scenes out of Kyiv this morning as Russia used a jet-powered drone to blow up Ukraine’s National Academy of Sciences. People are escaping through windows as the building burns. Just like they target kindergartens and schools, now they are bombing science.
Nothing says “America First” like mocking a former American president in front of a communist dictator.
Trump may think he’s humiliating Biden, but all he’s doing is humiliating the United States.
Jesse Watters spends every show calling Democrats Commies & then can't secure himself a dinner seat fast enough when a commie leader comes to town.
They're all such frauds, & the Maga Morons eat it up.
Let's be very clear on this one point.
The President mocking a former President in front of the communist leader of China is the most un-American thing an American president has ever done.
Mortgage rates reached a grim milestone this week, topping 7% for the first time since January 2025 and reaching their highest level during either of Donald Trump’s presidential terms. https://t.co/852FHoK6Lu
When Xi invokes the Thucydides Trap, as he did again today, he means he sees China as the rising power and the U.S. as the declining power.
Kinda weird for an American president to just let that go, especially in remarks delivered in the White House.
But these are not normal times.
January 4, 2024. Perry High School, Iowa.
A 17-year-old student walked into the school commons with a shotgun and opened fire.
Terrified kids were trapped in the breakfast area.
56-year-old Principal Dan Marburger had loved this school for thirty years.
He was hit by gunfire in the opening seconds.
He had an exit right behind him. He could have run outside to safety.
Dan refused to run.
He stepped directly between the shooter and his fleeing students.
He called the shooter by name, over and over, pleading with him:
"Dylan, don't do it... Dylan, stop... let’s talk."
Every time Principal Marburger called out his name, the killer turned his weapon toward Dan instead of the children.
It bought the kids two seconds. Three seconds. Five seconds.
Enough time for every single student in that commons to scramble out the door to safety.
Dan took another bullet, ensuring his kids got away.
He passed away ten days later from his wounds.
A principal who didn't just teach courage from a book.
He lived it with his last breath. 🇺🇸🕊️🏫
Proof is in the pudding: big data captured $68 billion of the tax breaks that Congressman Tom Tiffany voted for.
Congressman Tiffany also voted to prohibit local and state governments from being able to stop or regulate data centers for 10 years - until 2036!
JUST IN: The Senate rejected a resolution to end the war in Iran, 50-49.
Republican Senators Thom Tillis, Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski and Rand Paul voted for it.
John Fetterman was the only Democrat to vote against it.
