When Chinese people say “chinese new year” on the first day of Chinese calendar year, they criticised it is not “inclusive”and needs to be “lunar new year”. But then, they go around and print “korean new year” “japanese new year” “vietnamese new year”. And I wonder why, hmmm …
Now my suggestion towards marriage has gone from “you have to live together for at least a few months before you get married” to “you have to live together and raise kid(s) together (if you want kids some day in life) for at least 4 years before you get married”.#marriagematters
A Chinese student built an interesting app using vibe coding that visualizes nearly 5,000 artifacts in the British Museum from 99 countries around the world.
The app shows:
• When these artifacts arrived
• Which country they came from
• And how the distribution would look if all artifacts were returned to their countries of origin.
Next steps:
Continue fixing bugs
Improve SEO
Expand historical references
Also added a Chinese history & culture trivia game on the homepage.
Curious how many questions you can get right 👀
