@dogreadsnews @EdgarBlamm Agree. Both of mine also play basketball and have both practiced for thousands of hours. Maybe easier to do that on basketball as you can play one your own, 1v1 etc and it’s still great practice. Dennis bergkamp talks of hitting each brick of a brick wall when he was younger

@21_dougie @EdgarBlamm At 4s it doesn’t matter at all. Just let them play and enjoy it. Eventually the opposition 4 gang up and win the ball off the ball hogger and they learn to pass! Then they move to 7s and the process repeats itself😂they soon learn you can’t beat a whole team on your own

@WolfgangFace @EdgarBlamm I was told by a Scottish pro manager (who also had a lad in my son’s team) that the number of touches per game halves each progression from 4s to 7s to 11s. Add in the big goals and pitches and you lose development. Coaches wanting to win at all costs doubles the prob.
