[Official Statement Regarding Mark’s Exclusive Contract Termination]

Hello, this is SM Entertainment.

We sincerely thank all the fans who have continuously shown endless love and support for NCT.

After a long and in-depth discussion regarding Mark’s future activities, and through mutual agreement, we have decided to conclude his exclusive contract as of April 8.
Accordingly, Mark will be concluding all activities with NCT, including NCT 127 and NCT DREAM.

Since his debut in 2016 as part of NCT, Mark has not only shown outstanding performance in group activities but has also proven his capabilities as a solo artist, delivering remarkable achievements over the past 10 years.
We would like to express our gratitude for the precious time we have shared, and we sincerely support Mark as he embarks on a new journey beyond the team.

▪️ NCT 127 will continue as 7 members: Johnny Taeyong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Jungwoo, and Haechan
▪️ NCT DREAM will continue as 6 members: Renjun, Jeno, Haechan, Jaemin, Chenle, and Jisung

Idk if only renchins je ke yg perasan but renjun jinjja semangat dia makin rendah. The difference is so apparent but we are always trying to be careful to not overstep, overanalyse. But his motivation isnt the same as before and we all know why :(
