Twitter also helped me connect with classmates and put faces to names. It was nice using twitter because we don't see one another on a daily basis because the course is online. I also got to connect with several professionals in the bio/chem/biotech field!

As we wrap up class, I found it extremely helpful taking an online course. There are so many resources that we can use, and I feel like @peerwise is a great way to quiz us on weekly material! I feel like twitter helped me to connect with other classmates! #prescottbiochemistry

I also found Peerwise to be useful and insightful! Peerwise helped me in particular because I knew the questions were coming from my peers so that motivated me to want to know as much as everyone else does (healthy competition). Overall, great tool!

I feel the same way! I had a lot of miscellaneous (though important) knowledge coming in, and I am now able to apply and connect my prior knowledge with bigger pictures/concepts thanks to this course.

I think a big thing that this course helped me with was being able to put all my prior knowledge together and have it make more sense than the first (or second) time around. Definitely have a better grasp of enzymes now! #prescottbiochemistry

I am also a hands-on learner! Thankfully we had the opportunity to do a couple of biochem labs in person which allowed us to step away from the online course and connect with one another in the lab.

I'm a very hands on learner so this class in general was a bit challenging for me. However, my favorite part of this class and how I best learned was through Twitter. I never realized how easy it was to get in touch with the science community on this app! #prescottbiochemistry

I can relate to that! My fear was lack of structured class time as well but it turned out to be fine. Twitter has also helped me connect with the med world, as I am a pre-med!

The most challenging part of this course was having to self disciple myself to learn the material thoroughly. I learned time management, organization and productivity. Biocehm twitter has helped me network and get to know nearby biotech businesses!

@DrAnaMRSB I wonder how use of protease inhibitors as an antiviral to possibly treat COVID differs from use of this inhibitors in tx of influenza as we know of it today. Though the mechanism remains the same, are there many more viral proteases for target in COVID? #prescottbiochemistry

@StarsetMssngrs It blows my mind that the artificial heart was even able to function in the human body; let alone 3 days! We have come a long way since, especially with technological age. I wonder how this milestone influenced what we know of 2day for tx of heart failure. #prescottbiochemistry
