If someone calls you a fool, ignore them. An idiot, keep walking. A moron, treat it with indifference.
But if they call you obidient, grab them by the shirt. Call the police. Invite your lawyers.
H.E. Peter Obi, you said you owed no one. You lied. You vowed to quit your 2027 campaign if even one person was shown. Water Corporation staff protested. Records are clear; survivors still testify. Those debts are yet to be fully cleared even today.
The records are clear!
Hypocrites everywhere! It is okay to continue to scrutinise the records of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT as Governor of Lagos State 27 years ago, but it is abomination to scrutinise Peter Obi’s record as Governor 19 years ago! Yet, they are both running for the same office.
How can someone question why the Anambra State Government is reeling out facts at this time? A Presidential candidate makes bogus claims as to his tenure as Governor, yet you don’t want him to be fact-checked? What type of hypocrisy is this? Governor Soludo, take a bow; take your flowers.
I see some suggestions that everyone is ‘obsessed’ about Peter Obi because we are always talking about him. I am sorry, but they miss the point. When someone lies per second, you also have to fact-check him per second. He got away with the lies in 2023, but this time Nigerians are ready to fact-check every claim of the ‘yes-daddy’ man.
Therefore, to put it simply, the amount of time we talk about Peter Obi is directly proportional to the amount of lies he tells.
Peter Obi's entire campaign is always revolving on how he has never stole public funds compared to most politicians in Nigeria; But let's talk about how he invested state funds worth several billions in banks, including the bank(s) where he has significant shares. And how state funds was also channeled into international Breweries.
Now correct me if I am wrong, if you invest in banks where you have shares, and that banks makes good profit, doesn't he stand to benefit from the profits as a shareholder thru dividends and capital appreciation. And all this was happening while the state was still underdeveloped.
So what is he actually talking about. You used state funds to invest in banks where you also owned shares.
“If you want to sell it cheaper, go and import your own and sell it cheap.”
The people with capacity and will to sell it cheaper have now arrived to attend to the yearnings of common Nigerians. Why are we throwing tantrums?
What do we really want?
Can someone help me with what he said or was trying to say? A simple translation please. No insults, just a translation of what he was saying here. I don’t like being confused. Please help me out here 📷 @AdeolaFayehun
Selective outrage
You hated the fact that you were asked to leave Lagos. You called it tribalism. You hated the fact that South Africans chased Nigerians out of South Africa. You called it Xenophobia.
What do you call chasing foreigners out of a place cos they sell cheaper than you ?
If you make excuses for the latter then you are a bloody hypocrite
This is 2026, not 2022.
No allow anybody format your head with “One Nigeria” o😂🤣
Seen the low IQ interviews of Peter Obi?
Nobody is voting him because of competence because he is in abundant lack of it. They want to vote for him because he is their tribesmen. Clock it🤏🏽
Those of you finally having the courage to speak up in that fraudulent movement. The mob will whine you but don’t panic. Speak your mind and mute the tweet.
Today, the rewards I promised our D’Tigress have been fully redeemed.
Each player has received the naira equivalent of $100,000, while each official has received the equivalent of $50,000, completing their package of cash rewards, national honours and three-bedroom homes in Abuja.
For the first time, a Federal Government has fulfilled this scale of presidential sporting rewards in full within one year. We had to follow the processes required by law and ensure that every commitment was properly implemented. That took time, but a promise made must be a promise kept.
We are also concluding the outstanding cash rewards for our Super Falcons.
The Super Falcons players and officials have already received the title documents to their house allocations and National Honours certificates. Likewise, the promise of houses and national honours I made to Super Eagles players has since been redeemed.
Our athletes who bring honour to Nigeria deserve more than applause. They deserve a country that keeps its word.
My promise to every Nigerian Athelete is make NIGERIA proud, and come back to a grateful Nation.
Congratulations once again, our athletes. Nigeria is proud of you.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR
President
