Ace Combat is pure hopecore. It's so damn earnest it might as well be Kingdom Hearts. It requires legitimate going all in on to accept. You either vibe with it or you don't and the people who do REALLY do.

A lot of this comes from the dynamic 3D sound system that Ace Combat employs.

The music and effects changes dynamically given the scenario. Instruments come in or go away depending on the scene, tracks shifts gears whether or not you're doing well during a mission. The effects even change if you're in third person view or cockpit view.

So much love and care went into developing this sound system.
