Hon. @GKTongoyo reads a statement from the National Police Service Commission from yesterday.
The National Police Service wishes to provide a comprehensive update on the ongoing investigation into the alleged abduction of Hon. George Koimburi. On Monday 26th May 2025, the attention of the NPS was drawn to an amateur video circulating on social media and mainstream media purportedly showing the MP abandoned at a farm in Juja.
Police officers from Juja swiftly responded visiting the alleged scene and thoroughly documenting the area. Upon comparing with vegetation and road dimensions at the scene with those in the video, it was established that the two did not match.
During the questioning, Moses Kariuki, the caretaker of the coffee farm, which is owned by Jimmy Wanjigi, stated that he had not witnessed such an incident.
The officers then proceeded to Plainview Hospital in Ruiru where the MP had reportedly been taken for treatment, they confirmed that the vehicle used to transport him belonged to Hon. George Koimburi and was driven by Fridah Njeri, who was also the first responder at the alleged crime scene.
The hospital did not disclose the nature of the treatment or first aid administered making it difficult to assess the extent of the alleged injury. Meanwhile, specialised team from DCI HQ supported by the forensic expert from the National Forensic Lab were promptly deployed to the scene to conduct a thorough examination, gather critical evidence and establish the circumstances surrounding the alleged abduction. #BungeLiveNA

I am deeply shocked by the tragic and absurd killing of Hon. Charles Ong’ondo Were, MP for Kasipul along Ngong road in Nairobi City.
I served with him in the 12th and 13th Parliament. He was a courageous man full of humour and dedicated in his work .I call upon the investigative authorities to conduct a thorough probe
And bring the perpetrators of this heinous act into the book.
I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family and the people of Kasipul. May his soul rest in peace.
It is deeply regrettable that lives have been lost today following the tragic confrontation between police officers and the residents of Angata Barikoi over ongoing land disputes. It's sad that we've lost more than 5 lives and valuable property during this event.
Recently, the National Assembly conducted a fact-finding mission in the area with the aim of resolving these persistent land conflicts and it's report is at the final stage for tabling before the National Assembly.
We condemned with the strongest terms possible this senseless and unnecessary killings. The law is very clear on such matters and we call on the relevant government agencies to investigate the incident and deliver justice to the affected families.
I also want to urge the residents of Angata Barikoi to remain calm and exercise patience as we work towards a lasting solution.
I send my deepest condolences to the bereaved families and wish a quick recovery to all those injured. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time
Today, I had the honor of attending the wedding of my good friend, James Ole Sekut one of the greatest Maa gospel singers of our time.
I wished him and his lovely bride a blessed union and a future filled with love, joy and purpose.
Later in the day, I joined Tipira Kotikash and his family for a beautiful housewarming celebration and congratulated them on their new home a true symbol of progress and dedication
Today marks a dark and painful day for the people of Narok. In a shocking and deeply unjust ruling, the court has handed over 4,000 acres of community land on a the case (ELC CASE NO.21 OF 2021) to a single family, this is not just a legal setback it is a betrayal of the Maasai people and an insult to our ancestors who fought to protect this land.
While we respect the court process, we strongly disagree with this ruling. We condemn this blatant land theft in the strongest terms possible This is a calculated move to silence the community while their rightful land is stolen under the guise of legal proceedings. But let it be clear this fight is far from over!. The Maasai people will not sit back as their ancestral land is taken from them Justice must and will prevail.
For 26 years respected leaders like the late Ole Yiale, Ntoros Ole Baari, Kitita Ole Sayiaton, Ole Nkadado, and Former Governor Tunai have stood firm in defending Olkiombo as community land. Then came a county Governor who has shown this community that their rights, history, and dignity mean nothing to him.
We will not be intimidated neither will we be silenced. The Maasai people will rise and fight for what is rightfully theirs.
According to the Court rulling this is how Patrick Ntutu will pay his brother Livingstone Ntutu ,Check in the picture below

This morning, we commenced the drilling of a borehole at Kishermoruak Boys Secondary School, a transformative project that will address the long-standing water challenges faced by both the primary and secondary schools.
Through the support of NG-CDF NAROK WEST, Kishermoruak Boys has seen remarkable progress. The school now boasts:
- A twin laboratory for improved science learning,
- Two dormitories providing comfortable accommodation,
- A multipurpose hall for various school activities,
- An administration block for efficient school management,
- Adequate classrooms to support quality learning, and
- An electric fence ensuring safety from wildlife, as the school is situated in the bush.
Looking ahead, we plan to enhance the school's environment by constructing pavements with cabros, ensuring a modern and welcoming atmosphere for our students.
Together, we remain committed to empowering our schools with the infrastructure and resources needed to foster a conducive learning environment.
