We’re excited to announce Lekan Lawal (@lekxel) as a speaker at SysConf 2026!

His talk is titled “Building Reliable Multi-Chain Transaction Watchers Without Burning Your RPC Budget.”

At Bitoshi, reliably detecting crypto transactions across multiple blockchain networks initially seemed simple: poll blocks, inspect transactions, and match them against user wallets. However, the heterogeneity of the different networks (e.g., requiring execution traces, differing APIs, and cost of tracing high-throughput chains) made this a difficult and expensive challenge.

This talk discusses Lekan’s experience building the system and infrastructure for this process. He will show how the system evolved from block polling and RPC-heavy processing to a more event-driven architecture using provider webhooks and indexing pipelines.
