Idk, It makes sense to me that If someone who has a pending trial is selected to a position of power, especially at state or federal level, said trial should be expedited and held before the appointment can take place.

But that being said, I don’t make the rules and I never will (even though I’d be really, really good at it). I thought during the last 30 years things had been quietly improving, but really it’s just the same as it ever was before I even got here.

whenever you read about the $30 cap, the cap only exists for certain circumstances.
