@open_rocking@EJWoolf@LucyTCWife You were lucky. When I was 19, the fear of encountering the Yorkshire Ripper stopped us from going out unaccompanied. That's over 45 years ago.
@EJWoolf I spent a lot of my childhood on day trips to London. My parents would always tell me to be careful in crowded places because of pickpockets. This was in the 1960s. Things are no worse today. We just get constant scaremongering from the gutter media.
Excuse me! Itโs Percy here. I know what you are thinking! But donโt worry. I am not planning on doing anything naughty. I am just checking that Mumโs Winnie-the-Pooh ornaments are all ok. With Ron and Cleo around, you canโt be too careful. Ahem.
Chums! Baby Dog here. Has anyone UK based noticed how HAPPY the birds seem to be at the moment? They are all singing so LOUDLY! I have been listening to them a lot, and I find that they stop me worrying and make me feel calm. Maybe they will do the same for you? Sound up! (Info: you will hear the Wren, Chiffchaff, Kingfisher, Dunnock, Robin, Blackbird, Woodpecker & Wood Pigeon)
@Malcolm_theCat You had a lovely bimble through the woods. The birds were amazing. They are happy and it makes us happy too! โค๏ธ๐๐๐พ๐ฆโโฌ๐ถ๐ณ๐๐
@Ja2451812James@PatrickChristys You are obviously too young, not northern, a child, or a woman. I can remember the days when the Moors Murderers and the Yorkshire Ripper were around. Before them came Reg Christie, Neville Heath & John Haigh. Lovely times never existed.
Friends! Percy doesnโt seem to have learned his lesson after breaking Winnie-the-Poohโs ear off. I just walked in to find this scene in front of me. Does he think heโs an ornament? Tut-tut, Percy!
