Well, such a relaxing day!

Decided to do a mock ielts test, nearly 1 week left until the Ielts exam date🥹 Not yet fully prepared.

But still decided to treat myself with an adaption of the book “Out of Africa”.

The book itself is such a masterpiece. But when it was adapted in 1985, it didn’t convey stories much. Instead, they described the love story between the author and Denys Finch Hatton.

Still, I was very impressed by the film technology and scenes made in Africa back then.

Just ordered a book to read next month: the perfect spy, Pham Xuan An. Can’t wait to read it😊

Tui hay đi học những khóa 2–3 tuần ở nước ngoài. Giờ thì ít đi rồi vì già, bay hoài cũng mệt 😄. Chứ hồi xưa đi nhiều lắm. Phần lớn các khóa đều được đài thọ 100%, gọi là fully-funded, gồm cả vé máy bay khứ hồi và tiền sinh hoạt phí.

Có chương trình họ lo luôn chỗ ăn ở, mình chỉ tốn tiền vé máy bay; có chương trình thì mình phải tự lo thêm tiền ăn tối, còn ăn sáng và ăn trưa họ lo.

Khóa này diễn ra từ 1/3–23/3/2027 tại New Zealand, học trong 3 tuần, dành cho quản lý cấp trung trở lên trong các doanh nghiệp tư nhân và tổ chức hoạt động trong lĩnh vực thực phẩm, nông nghiệp. Có khoảng 5 năm kinh nghiệm làm việc là đủ điều kiện về kinh nghiệm.

Các bé chưa thi IELTS thì có thể xem PTE Academic. Bài thi hoàn toàn trên máy tính và kết quả thường có trong khoảng 48 giờ, đăng ký thi liền cũng được nữa. Nếu chưa đạt yêu cầu thì có thể đăng ký thi lại chục lần cũng OK. Úc và New Zealand cũng có rất nhiều trường/cơ quan chấp nhận PTE, nhưng khóa học nào chấp nhận loại chứng chỉ nào thì vẫn phải xem yêu cầu cụ thể của từng chương trình nha.

*Cảnh New Zealand đẹp lắm, chỉ hơi vắng vẻ tí vì dân không đông. Tui đi qua khoảng 80 nước rồi mà chưa thấy thành phố nào có hoa nở lộng lẫy như Christchurch. Tháng 3 bên NZL là mùa thu nhen, cả đảo Nam vàng óng ánh.

Tada, I’m back with exercising, reading after 4-day pause😌

Well, today it rained so heavily and I was so tired after the long trip, so I asked a day off work. However, I had to handle the work online.

Well, still not figured out the optimized transportation to offer for Cambodian prospects yet.

This is completely new to us, as normally we only do the sea freight😗

Nevertheless, I’m determined to work it out soon.

20 mins of basic cardio exercise. 45 mins of reading the book “Out of Africa”. And today I finished this book, too. Gotta watch its adaptation soon.

On the way back home in Hà Tĩnh and officially done the 3-day trip Hà Tĩnh - Hanoi - Hà Tĩnh - Ninh Binh - Hanoi - Hà Tĩnh🥴

Quite tired but fulfilled and more mature at the same time.

Had a chance to talk and work with BOD of companies, handled with problems incurred.

Still a long way to get, but first steps have been made. Atta girl🤌🙌

Well, being on a short business trip and still trying to make use of time to review some Chinese words, right at the hotel😙

So much chaos these days, and my mind got kinda distracted a lot, too. So I kept forgetting the Chinese words which I had learnt.

But alright, after this trip, defo come back for more serious learning and exercising (yup, due to unstable traveling schedule, I couldn’t exercise in the past few days. But still maintain the short 5-min stretch before bedtime and after waking up).

Such a crazy day😙 I literally didn’t have any sleep in past 24h🥹My head feels like splitting now🥲

Last night I only slept for 1 hour, then got ready for a trip to Noi Bai airport, departing at nearly 1 am🥹

Then we picked up the Filipino clients. Unlike my imagination, they are super friendly and nice🥰 We even could chat non-stop on the way back to Ha Tinh. So basically, I’ve travelled 700 km today😃

But the cosy and sincere vibe I got from the clients really helped me out regarding the tiredness🥰

However, an incident from my first and beloved Thai client has worn me out then. The most recent cargo was too wet and caking, which made them stop the new order and require to return the whole shipment. I just went panicked then, as this is the first time it happened to us😰

But the thing is, the moment she texted then called me to complain, I felt the her frustration and disappointment. That hurt me the most. As this is the first client of mine when I started this B2B sales job🥺

Despite being extremely tired, I tried to pull myself together and asked stakeholders for solutions. Still, nothing feasible has been decided.

Well, as they paid through LC, of course we did receive the payment 1 week ago. So it tempo won’t affect our company’s budget. But I don’t want to lose this valued client for good. So I’m really upset and concerned from noon till now😢

Well, regarding the dinner tonight with Filipino clients with our BOD, I’m so happy as after all, they all recognized my effort, esp the compliment “the most hard-working salesman ever I’ve got” from my manager. He is the one who jotted down painful words about me last year, when I just joined the company and knew nothing about the business😗

Not to mention, I’ve got the presents made in Philippines from my dear clients. Cannot express how grateful I am to this life as an international sales exe☺️

More than just a business partners, they are like my elder bros😛

Really look forward to closing more deals with international clients to have such adorable friends like them🥰

Well, jot down daily recap way earlier than usual, as I’ll be heading to Hanoi at 1 am tmr morning to pick up the clients from Philippines. Gonna accompany them during the next 3 days.

I’ve been losing sleep these days, so it’s quite hard for my mind to focus & absorb Chinese words and their characters🥹

Nothing much happened today. Just did 1 Ielts listening mock test. Then took care of nephew and niece the whole morning.

Afterwards, studied mistakes from the test above and composed hw for the student who studied English online tonight.
