What’s ironical is that the same guy had a problem with his sister’s in-laws interfering in her life but he doesn’t understand how his sister’s interference is destroying someone else’s peace and life
Men who cannot look beyond their sister (first of all, ew) should not, ever marry. If you’re going to be your married sister’s and her family’s caretaker for life, you have no right to ruin sone other girl’s life by marrying her
Am I the only one who thinks that journaling is no longer about recording/arranging your thoughts and memories but has instead become arranging pretty stickers etc in an aesthetic way?
I’m not complaining, it’s fun to look at and watch, but maybe we should call it something else
Me: my vagina is burning
My husband *visibly irritated*: are you accusing my family of dirtying our washroom?
Uhhhhhhh yeah, especially since you just confirmed it
I just cannot get over the fact that my mother would say “it’s your fault; you chose this guy” as if she wasn’t after me with a pitchfork to get married. If anyone is reading this who thinks arranged marriage will make your parents take your side,
More than anything that my husband or in-laws have done/do, this single statement by my mother hurt me to smithereens. I have truly realised that I belong nowhere now. I have no home to call my own. I have no place to go to feel safe and secure
My husband has had a lot of trouble understanding how to use “miserable” correctly. If I could make him feel how I’m feeling right now, he’d understand what “I’m miserable” means and how to use it correctly
Every so often, I remember that tweet or something which said “why is living so expensive, I’m not even having a good time” and it just makes me laugh and cry at the same time because not only do I have money issues constantly, I am also not happy
I did not bring one to my parents and say, “I’ll marry this one”. They presented 10 options and I chose one but apparently there’s no difference between this and that. I still had a “love marriage”. Everything is still my fault.
Not that my father would take my side, I know when he hears this all, he’d be like “learn to ignore these issues, dear”. But he still has such a calming presence that him being here would just improve things to a level. He really should come home soon or I will go mad
