As a whole, it was disappointing. The venue was very cramped with few places to just exist. Most panels don't appeal to me anymore. This con is great if you watch dubs, but I don't, so none of the guests were that relevant for me.
Day 2: They figured it out and lines were minimal, which was great. We got to the artists alley, but, again, I feel like they downsized. It was cool seeing new artists though. The retro arcade was also pretty cool, I just wish they had a couple more cabinets.
I could be wrong, but I think there were less vendors in general too. We wanted to see the artists alley, but there was a long line to use the escalator, so we just went home.
Honestly, #weebcon this year sucked. I have been going to weebcon nearly since it started, but probably won't go back. I had high hopes for the new location, but they fell flat: 🧵
Day 1: I missed the sumo panel because I was waiting in line to get in for 2 hrs even though I preordered my badge. The dealers room felt more like an artist alley. There were barely any figure booths and no manga/anime/videogame booths, but plenty of Funkos.
