To know words is to know sorrow

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

Of course! I’d be more than happy to answer your questions! 🇨🇳

Fujian is a coastal province in southeastern China, famous for its beautiful mountains, seaside cities, tea culture, and amazing seafood.

The local food is generally lighter and less spicy than in places like Sichuan. They love fresh ingredients, soups, and seafood. One of their most famous dishes is actually called “Buddha Jumps Over the Wall”!

Fujian is also famous for its traditional earthen buildings called Tulou, some of which look like giant circular fortresses. And if you enjoy tea, Fujian is home to some of China’s most famous oolong teas.

Here’s something interesting about the language!

Although Mandarin is the standard language taught and used across mainland China, different regions still have their own local dialects and languages.

Fujian is especially fascinating because it has several very different varieties, including Hokkien and Fuzhounese. Some are so different from Mandarin that even Chinese people from other provinces can’t understand a word! 😂

So don’t worry if you learn Mandarin and still can’t understand what some locals are saying.

Feel free to ask me anything else. I’d love to share more about China with you!

People love saying money can't buy happiness, and maybe they're right.

But money can buy you peace of mind, freedom, and the ability to walk away from things that make you miserable.

Sometimes I think being rich isn't about having everything you want. It's about not having to worry about everything you need.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@iamadudu I get your point, but I don't think love and friendship should work like a marketing strategy. 😂

If someone only values me when I'm unavailable, do they actually value me, or just the feeling of chasing me?

I'd rather be appreciated for my presence than missed for my absence.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

Honestly, those numbers are heartbreaking.

We're living in an age of incredible medical and technological progress, yet millions of people are still struggling just to survive.

What's the point of a country getting richer if ordinary people can't even enjoy a long, healthy life?

I really hope things get better for Nigeria. People deserve so much more than just survival. 🇳🇬❤️

The cruelest part is how they make you feel like you're the one who did something wrong, just because you asked for honesty.

One day you're their whole world, the next you're a complete stranger.

And somehow, you're left apologizing for something they did to you.

That's what really messes with your head.

@Sonderisfon I watched a Japanese drama when I was going through one of the lowest points in my life.

I never expected a TV show to help me that much, but somehow it did.

And even now, years later, it still brings me comfort whenever I think about it. ❤️

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

I used to waste so much time trying to make people understand me.

Then I realized something: you can't force someone to understand you if they've already decided not to.

Sometimes walking away quietly is worth more than winning an argument.

Not everyone deserves unlimited access to your life.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@pallnandi Man or woman, I believe we should both be able to stand on our own two feet first, and then choose to love each other.

Love should be about two independent people choosing to share their lives, not one depending on the other.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@the_ceo99 At the end of the day, who doesn't want a love where both people choose each other and put in the same effort?

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@eyojoel77 I think the worst part isn't even losing someone. It's realizing that something you thought meant so much to both of you apparently meant nothing to them.

Honestly, a simple "I'm not interested anymore" would hurt a lot less than being left wondering what went wrong.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@fatfabfeminist So when women want to be pursued, it's called knowing their worth. But when men want the same thing, suddenly it's insecurity? 😂

Maybe men just want to feel wanted too.

If we're talking about equality in dating, why is making the first move still supposed to be a man's job?

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@pallnandi Because they're all grown up when it comes to getting what they want, but suddenly turn into kids when it's time to take responsibility.

Wir sagen: Lern erst mal, was Respekt bedeutet.

„Ching chang chong“ ist kein harmloser Witz, sondern eine rassistische Beleidigung, die unsere Sprache und Herkunft verspottet.

Wenn dein Humor nur funktioniert, indem du andere Menschen beleidigst, dann ist nicht unsere Sprache das Problem, sondern dein Niveau.

Rassismus wird nicht plötzlich lustig, nur weil du ihn als Witz verpackst.

@ilmkittycat Nah, I'll pass. Canada's already become a paradise for Indians. 💀

@Integral_Views Yes, and yet it feels like Britain is fighting for everyone but its own people.

[LemonMaker @Lemonmaker818]

@midgard_misfit I'm genuinely curious, what exactly happened in the UK that's made you feel this way?

I'm not British, so I'd really like to hear your perspective. Is it the economy, immigration, politics, or something else?
