@aspdbenrey @itsnotdogyup @uhh_luc i contend that rap is not a genre in itself, but rather a vocal style which is employed by many genres, as is singing or spoken word. i'm talking about hip-hop, you're talking about the vocal style. you're right that rapped music is diverse, but sung music is too, maybe more so.
