how come when i was 15, the idea of watching and babysitting young children was like no big deal, but now the thought of someone asking me to help watch a small child gives me a chill down my spine, anxiety, and a fear that could nearly send me into another dimension

@totallynotlya definitely. i read an interview w the author n he helped david lynch w the movie n despite the hate, he loved the adaptation n the metaphorical changes made to rep the characters’ inner monologues so def i recommend reading first to understand lynch’s adaptation
