There was this woman in charge of the Tamale Stadium, Salamatu Alhassan. The Auditor General’s report found that she literally transferred money generated from use of the stadium into her own account and chopped the money. When she was caught, she admitted. The Auditor ordered for her arrest. She run away with the keys to her office.

The stadium nearly collapsed under her watch.

They transferred a new person Iddrisu Ahmed from The Bolga there & in within a matter of months, this is how it looks like, with the use of their internally generated funds.

The new Director has promised to get the stadium back to hosting Black Stars international games.

Hopefully so, but good work so far.
