@X111TheBlackCat@digijordan Thanks for the non needed lesson and strawman.
why is a product allowed that comes with random violations? simple: because it serves power.
but good on you to be a arguing for power, I'm sure it serves you well.
@Nutri3ntD3ns3@sixfootkransky@digijordan something can be legal and obviously wrong.
the legal system serves as a thin veneer of order for abusive powers. which is why we both know no one will actually be held accountable.
@realTimHack went in too late. probably my worst trade to date 😅. would you hold or cut losses? probably going to take a long time to recover, even though the fundamentals should be there
@UAPWatchers I believe so but maybe, but those things are constructs. I don‘t know if a lion hunting a zebra is evil, or us farming cows or domesticating dogs.
The phenomena can communicate but it won‘t & if it does, it lies + people in the know only lie as well. They‘re all pure „evil“
@realTimHack Found you only recently.
I'm rather new to the game, as I had absolutely zero capital to invest... went as hard as I could this year. Not much but better than nothing.
Put what little I have to spare on your Highlander Silver call - curious if it pans out ;)
Thx & keep it up
@fringedotcom Disturbing indeed.
Would love to know what Tom Montalk‘s take is on this (the faeming), need to read his book and listen to the upcoming x-space.
Also fear is (Open)AI‘s business model. Fear of the US losing the Ai race. It‘s why AI is allowed to get away with murder.
BUT fear is also what polititcians want most! E.g. Deepfakes = more reason for digital ID and censorship.
They hate us
I increasingly think OpenAI is trying to destroy the concept of copyright through desensitization.
Copyright is a huge threat to their profits. They are facing multiple massive copyright lawsuits.
So they release Sora, knowing it can output copyrighted IP and knowing people will use it for this. Ghibli was a trial run.
It floods the internet. More importantly, other apps will follow their lead. I suspect we will see this soon - it’s what happened with ChatGPT and training, everyone thought ‘if they can get away with it, perhaps we can too’.
So it becomes the new norm, used by millions, and it’s that much harder for society to backtrack. Lawsuits are expensive to bring. It’s harder to defend your rights when everyone is exploiting your IP.
They are trying to shift what we consider normal, so that copyright stops being an issue for them.
We should all be trying to ensure this strategy does not succeed.
