@mvn_dn@mvn_dn Everything happens for a reason.Last year 3 sets sila ni Pegula sa Miami. Then this year naka revenge na ang atabs natin, sa finals pa for her 1st title.hehe! Very good returner din talaga si Amanda w/c forces Alex to commit errors. This is a learning experience for her.💯
This is a good learning experience kay Alex.
@naolitos@naolitos This is so true. At the end of the day, tennis is a mind game. Aside from the physical & technical aspects. Mental strength makes all the difference.
Kaya halos lahat ng kalaban is napapa net or overhit.
As a Filipino, seeing this genuinely touched my heart. 🥹🤍
Thank you, @NBOtoronto, for making it feel like more than just an event but a celebration of the players, the fans, and tennis itself.
It felt like a warm welcome for new fans, especially those from the Philippines. 🇵🇭
And the way you honored the champions, the players and then Alex Eala… 🫶🇵🇭
This meant so much. Maraming Salamat. 🤍

@haesoochan@keiIuchi@haesoochan Kasi if Alex was in much better physical condition, she could’ve won this match. That’s just how I see it. Kaya niya yon. Bencic capitalized on the situation by being aggressive, so credit to her for that.
@haesoochan@keiIuchi@haesoochan Well, it’s my opinion na kaya ni Alex si Bencic & can win in straight sets. Nothing wrong with that. She consistently held serve & broke her opponents’ serves from Washington up until kay Parks. Hindi lang talaga kinaya ng body niya.
@JannelyIdz43787@haesoochan@keiIuchi@JannelyIdz43787 Right? Bencic was aggressive & capitalized on this version of Alex who was already mentally & physically drained. It felt like Alex was still trying kahit maka one point lang man sa 2nd set. But her body wouldn’t allow it anymore.
@haesoochan@keiIuchi@haesoochan There’s nothing wrong or boastful about what I said. Alex already had an injury and was overfatigued. Kitang kita naman. She was barely chasing down balls in the 2nd set & clearly wasn’t her usual physical self. Maybe you should humble yourself.
@mvn_dn@mvn_dn You really did well, @AlexEala05 ! Congratulations! 👏🏼👏🏼Now rest well. The fatigue just caught up with her from Washington to Toronto, it was one match after another with barely any rest.
@IStandTennis @IStandTennis Yes mhie.Yung nasigaw na “out” & nabawasan na rin yung unnecessary yelling before the serve & in between points.Maganda kapwa pinoy na ang nagpatahimik.haha! We should really respect tennis etiquette lalo na coz it doesn’t only reflect on Alex but also on us Pinoys.
