Today is the 40th Anniversary of the 1st woman Firefighters hired by the Boston Fire Department, Patricia Donovan. The Department will be honoring all the women Firefighters at an invitation only event this Saturday.

The Boston Fire Honor Guard led the procession for the 131st Annual Firefighters Memorial Service at Forest Hills . A Day of remembrance for those who served to protect the residents of the City of Boston . May they Rest in Peace.
