I'm sadly aware that a good number of my bots here are suspended. Getting any responses from my X employee contacts has yet to yield fruit. This could be the end of iembot as I am getting too old and this is so painful to keep running without X @Support help or @XDevelopers
I have gotten 0.77 inches of rainfall in the past 36 hours. As a reference, the normal rainfall for the entire month of February is 0.76 inches. #CoCoRaHS station WA-BT-29
Good Morning @NWSPendleton, #CoCoRaHS station WA-BT-29 in Kennewick here. We got our first snow of this season in the Lower Columbia Basin of Washington. It's not much, averaging just 0.1 inches, but it's something that isn't Zero (finally)!
Hey now, would you look at that! Crews have made progress on road repairs and inspections and US 2 between Skykomish and Stevens Pass Resort will reopen for both directions in a limited capacity by Sunday, Jan. 4.

@NWSPendleton It sounds like WWF56 is down, just hearing static. I heard there was a fire somewhere on Rattlesnake Ridge yesterday. Would you know anything about the status of the transmitter? WXL95 sounds good.
UPDATE #10: Good afternoon from the White River Bridge, where we're getting an early start on permanent repairs!
Crews will work seven days a week for the next six to eight weeks with the goal to reopen the bridge between Oct. 31 and Nov. 14.
I am devastated to share that the love of my life, Gizmo, has passed away at the age of 17. We shared so many memories and storm chasing adventures together especially over the last 15 years. Gizmo chased over 200 tornadoes, category 5 hurricanes, and loved me unconditionally through some very hard times across hundreds of miles. We chased through the pandemic on fast-food living out of the Subaru. She beat cancer, ticks, flash floods, and was inside of a tornado with a broken leg / peg leg cast. She visited 48 states, dozens of National Parks, three Canadian provinces and was loved by many storm chasers. This will be a very difficult time
@TornadoCoaching A combination of trees, poor road network, and being a lightning rod when there are no trees. I run around with a 65 inch CB antenna on my roof and I'm often the tallest thing around off the main highways. Getting struck by lightning is not recommended.
As of Today, I have submitted 1,000 #CoCoRaHS Observations. Since November 16th, 2022, I have recorded 20.41 inches of precipitation and 20.9 inches of snow. https://t.co/Pf2PU29E88
@Splitz_The_Fox CB is Citizens Band radio, also called "11 meters". They were really popular in the 70s and 80s. You can talk to other people that have them, either in their cars and trucks with mobile units or at their homes with base stations. Semi-truck drivers still use them often.
Although it may look like a good place to stop & view the @SeafairFestival hydro races, the shoulder of I-90 is not an approved spectator location & getting out of your vehicle on a highway isn't the best idea. @wastatepatrol will ask you to move along & so will our IRT crews.
Would you like to help us out with reports where you are located? This FREE app will let you report what type of weather you're seeing. This helps us GREATLY! #mPING#wawx#idwx#CitizenScientist
We are in touch with the National Tsunami Warning Center. The threat to the Washington state coast is UNKNOWN at this time. We will post more when we know more. #wawx
