1) Your starting champions matter. My last game I started with Graves 2, that instantly means play rogue.

lastly, and perhaps most importantly. Don't tilt. You will get griefed, uwill get contested, uwill go 8th.

My advice, when ugo bot 4, go watch some series, touch grass, pet the cat, go throw a game of overwatch or league. DO NOT instantly re-queue, that will lead to another 8th.

If you are curious how to top 4, its actually really simple. You won't be able to 3 star your 2 or 3 costs, so play 2 star and from there gain board strength by leveling and adding synergies. Stay on tempo and hope to lose less HP than your opponents.

3) recognise your spot. If you are two way contested. You are going 4th. No two ways about it, you cannot contest a comp and expect to win. Does that mean you pivot? Not always, you would be far better off playing for the 4th than pivoting and trying to win out.

2) your items are even more important. It is roughly broken down into 2 concepts
- 1: if you are planning to winstreak. Find a slammable item. This doesn't mean best in slot, it means close enough to make a big difference.
- 2: if you aren't winstreking BIS matters
