@TerribleMaps If I were gonna own an animal that's an absolute pain in the ass I'd get a pet fox, which is also illegal in my state but at least their shenanigans end with pissing everywhere and chewing on wires instead of going and ripping people's faces off
@paramotor_guy@ManicUCW They're canids, just like dogs. Often times when an older dog's owner dies they aren't far behind. Even if they're in good hands.
They can feel grief at the loss of a loved one, just as we can, and yet people still consider them pests. It will never cease to baffle me.
@PwnerLukeR18@SCShipyards Pando is a giant root network with multiple stems breaching the ground. Every 'tree' is genetically identical, and part of the same organism. It's a clonal colony.
@mhar0905@ReviewsPossum Was I correct about the coast or am I on the wrong side of the country? If I'm on the wrong side I'm gonna guess you live up near Yellowstone, or perhaps near the redwoods in California.
@iijNWqUQ7i41630 I have no doubt that some of these litterers are tourists, and 2,000 yen amounts to... $12.52 USD. I would crank that fine up a bit if I were them. Here in Kentucky, the fine for littering (i.e. tossing a soda can out the window) is $500 (79,869 yen), 12 months in jail, or both.
