"Don't talk about politics" when creators are actively being called slurs, threatened and much much worse for identifying as anything other than cis, white and straight in this space. Just look at how black creators have been treated for Black History Month. You realize you're in turn expecting silence from these people in the face of extreme hate in the community.

For anyone reading this, dont buy into this crap. Your voice makes your community feel protected and safe and those are the communities you want to aim for. Giving power to those who often feel powerless in the face of extremism while providing entertainment, safety and and a voice for those in need.

People like this always speak from a place of privilege not having to experience this daily. They wanna choose comfort and silence over justice because they have 0 empathy outside their own closed world view.
