In the midst of its courtship display, this Great Egret showcases its breeding plumes (Nuptial Plumage) - Bows as he extends his neck as much as possible - which is referred to as Sky - Pointing.

I get photos of the Vermilion Flycatcher by finding one and observing it from a distance. They sally forth from their perch, plucking insects out of the air. They usually return to the same perch, so I slowly approach to keep from scaring them away. #birds#nature#wildlife
