On the 4th of Muharram, 61 AH, Qazi Shuraih (May Allah's curse be upon him) issued a fatwa declaring the killing of Imam Hussain (A.S.) lawful. After this, by the evening, the 18,000 Muftis of Kufa also issued the same fatwa.

Fasting for 17–18 hours and craving food, but then getting full after a few bites is a perfect analogy of how short the pleasures of this Duniya is and how long they last. But Allah never once left you!

Just before ramadan, the hearts are heavy, some are broken, some have lost previous souls, some are drowning in sin and some are simply trying to stay a float. I ask Allah to heal us, protect us and allow us to reach this blessed month, a month of true reformation.

Haajat Rawa, Mushkil khusha, Ameer-Al-Momineen. Ali Haq, Ali Dil, Ali Dharkan, har saans mein hai.

Deeply saddened over the cowardly blast attack in a school in kabul today. My thoughts & heart goes to the families of innocent students who have lost their lives. I pray that May Allah (SWT) bestow his mercy upon the victims in these hard times. (Elahi Ameen)
