Kyle McCord’s throwing metrics are absolutely INSANE.

While at the Shrine Bowl, McCord recorded a spiral efficiency of 93%, which would be 95+ percentile in the NFL.

A spin rate of 699 RPM, which would be far greater than the NFL average of 592 RPM and again 95+ percentile in the league.

An average velocity of 49.4 MPH, which is yet again 95+ percentile in the NFL and 5 MPH faster than the average QB.

Many NFL scouts are reportedly “very high” on McCord as of now.

The Syracuse QB could become one of the leagues BEST passers 😳

Sources: Syracuse offensive coordinator Jeff Nixon has agreed to a new multi-year contract to stay with the Orange. It includes a significant raise that puts him near the top of the ACC in coordinator salary. Syracuse had the country’s No. 1 passing offense in 2024.

One NFL executive reportedly believes McCord "could go as early as the second round" and would be a steal at that spot.

Many NFL scouts reportedly believe McCord has an impressive frame at 6'3", 220 pounds and is "built like a starting" NFL QB.

McCord led all of college football in passing yards (4,779) this season and finished 4th in passing TD's (34).

The Syracuse QB looks like he could be a MAJOR sleeper in the 2025 NFL Draft.
