CAF is becoming a joke of a football federation. Why did you not request the referee to end the final match then in favor of Morocco?

Why continue the match till the end when you knew Article 84 already forfeits their victory when they on to win?

With this unthinkable decision, is the trophy going to be returned to Morocco and Senegal stripped of their title holder rights?

If payments were made to Senegal for winning the tournament, are you going to request a refund and all other benefits that accompanied their crowning?

Listen, Morocco equally did some of the ugliest stuffs on the field. They are not saints. You should stop pontificating their sore defeat as the doing of Senegal.

Stop coronating their excesses with hefty penalties being slapped on Senegal and their fanbase.

This is sheer bias and prejudice of a decision. A final match continued after a fleeting anxiety from a referee’s ill-conceived decision cannot be said to have gone against Senegal and as such forfeited a victory from a match they played till the final whistle.

Nothing on the field stopped the final game in perpetuity including the penalty awarded on a platter to the hosting side. Your sentimental favoritism is quite obvious and striking.

For me and many other fans of football, Senegal remains the Champions of AFCON 2025. This feat is only attained through how well you play on the field and not the decision of a few influenced c’ttee members.
