@Desumeb @MartinSLewis Our UK mortgage market is set up differently than 95% of the rest of the world, including the US. Our housing market is, therefore, uniquely set up to be smashed by increased interest rates. Why? Well... the answer is pretty much the same as always - greed.
Staggering new anti-boycott Bill proposed by Gove - effectively banning public bodies from boycotting those who abuse human rights or the planet. Yet another utterly anti-democratic clampdown we've come to expect from this Govt. This Bill should be nowhere near our statute book.
@MartinSLewis BoE = inflation is excessive spending. Combine with the UK's unique mortgage system, we are hurtling towards a train crash with the BoE increasing the train's speed. I do not see free-flowing money being spent, so maybe the solution is a better plan for tackling inflation.
This video is extraordinary. Has anyone asked Rees-Mogg on camera what he thinks of it now? He is someone who is very law-abiding and respectful of authority.
The Home Secretary, on the face of this Bill, invites Parliament to rip up international law. The only act of a Parliament that has any kind of moral integrity is to rip up her illegal & immoral Bill, which has no place on our statute book. #StopTheBill#RefugeeBanBill@JCWI_UK
@LBC@NickFerrariLBC The caller was right, but it didn't fit the agenda - so cut him off. Quoting other misleading sources doesn't make it a fact... depressing

I showed my press card, and I was handcuffed almost immediately. My phone was snatched out of my hand. I was searched twice, held in a cell for 5 hours, and I wasn’t questioned whilst in custody.
