I just sent 0.25% of the $HOODIE supply to @antaur_ai.

I had never met him before this, he never asked for payment, and I never offered any. That said, he has been the most prolific, proactive, and genuine contributor to the community from my perspective, so I wanted to reward his actions.

Simply stated, @thehoodstayson will not succeed if it is only me pushing it. Also, if that’s the case, I’d stop pushing anyway. The main reason I’ve been pushing is because it resonated with a lot of people after I launched it and that community has given me a lot of energy.

Energy is invaluable, so I appreciate it. Hopefully you have felt some from me in return. I’ve certainly put a lot into it.

I still believe hoodie has the potential to be THE memecoin of Robinhood Chain, despite the market cap as it stands today. It’s just better than the others. You can disagree if you want, but crypto has enough dogs and cats and matt furie characters. Hoodie is unique and a perfect representation of Robinhood.

Over time, the push needs to continue to decentralize beyond me. I’m happy to use my % of the supply earned from fees to help reward the people who step up proactively at various points in time. But if you step up mainly for the money, you’re probably not going to get any.

I have about 4.5% of the supply as of now and there is another 15% locked to a cliff and then vesting over years. I could burn it, or I could use it to reward the right people proactively working for the prosperity of the community. The latter seems better for now, but maybe it will be a mix or something different. I could imagine streaming some of it to the longest holders for example.

Regardless, if you’re getting on board, you’re trusting my judgment to distribute the hoodie I have to distribute in roughly the right amounts to roughly the right people over time. You’d also have to be bullish on Robinhood Chain and believe that some pure memecoins have the potential to reach and sustain large valuations over long periods of time. This is not investment advice, do your own research, and don’t buy more than you can comfortably afford to lose.
