Today, in the capital city of Dhaka, police in Uttara Sector 11, along with members of Chhatra League and Jubo League, attacked the students.

The Deputy Commissioner of Uttara, Ashraful Azim, is the son of Ashraful Azam, the Chairman of Shailkupa Upazila in Jhenaidah district and an Awami League leader.

This is why the police in Uttara are so aggressive.

This photo was taken on the afternoon of July 19th near Laboratory School in Dhaka. The police were firing indiscriminately, and this student was shot in the back. He lay on the street for over 10 minutes before anyone checked, only to find he was already dead. Bangladesh has many more photos like this and stories to share with the world.
