i mean respecting their game.

almost all of the live player pool will:

1) telegraph their hand strength with their bet size
2) under double / triple barrel as a bluff
3) under check raise turns / rivers as a bluff

if they tell you they have a strong hand by doing any of these 3 things, fold all your bluff catchers, and pile in money with your nutted hands.

there’s no reason to “give them rope” when you have the nuts. they’re not folding if you raise. they’re not bluffing if you call.

there’s no reason to “keep them honest” when you have a bluff catcher. the thing about bluff catchers is it requires them to have bluffs to catch.
