@liZar_d_ This is before taxes, yeah! Rates are meant to go up as you spend more time in the industry; apparently I had a higher wage than usual even though it was only my second job. This is for storyboard work too, people in other parts of the industry, like animators, get lower rates 💀

I'm probably considered the most junior of juniors and I still don't know if my pay was standard or if I had a good salary?? Anyways
Storyboard Revisionist, 2018-2020
$950 CAD/week, upped to $1000/w after a year
Worked about 40h/w but I was salary, not hourly
@victoriaramonah It's alright, we all got through it together at least 😅 I'll say I personally had a very positive experience with my time there but as is also usual, it always depends on the director and producer and not every show has a good or friendly set of those
**another thing I forgot to mention that's important:
I did have health benefits with our studio, and as far as I know there's no current animation union in the GTA?
@victoriaramonah + seemed to be better with benefits and overall work environment but I also know for a fact I had coworkers that had issues with wages, overtime, IT and workload
@victoriaramonah Ah, I'm unfortunately not surprised :c
I unfortunately also have no reference cause my coworkers were seniors so I don't know how much any other rev artist in the studio was being paid, but yeah!! I know there was definitely comparisons to neighboring studios and ours +
Extra notes: I'm a cis latinx girl, visibly brown and am often mistaken for Middle or East Asian. I do not have an accent, and I live and work in Toronto ✌️
