Today we have seen across the British newspapers that the limit of 30 at funerals will be abolished next month in Step 3.

If restrictions can be significantly eased for all other events, we must ask #whataboutweddings

I’d graciously take 30 people for my wedding if it was the same across the board with other indoor events. But yet again we’re stuck at 30 with no progression on last year even with a vaccine & the opportunity for lateral flow testing! @WAWofficialUK #whataboutweddings

Deeply disappointed yet again to see the complete lack of parity between events and weddings. If 1000 people can gather for an indoor event in Step 3, why are 'significant life events' limited to 30?
