@eodorelasso @AlexG1131063 @JFreerz i disagree it’s stupid to complain about this when there are SO MANY of these shorthand and wrong “rules” for snakes that get 1) overconfident people envenomated 2) harmless snakes killed. i think we agree that the default should be “don’t pick up snakes”

@eodorelasso @AlexG1131063 @JFreerz reread the comment. i explictly say leave snakes alone if you aren’t 100% sure of the species. holding misinformation produces false confidence. the rhyme needs to be unlearned because uninformed people will find a way to misinterpret it. the “and also” is useless.
