Well respected, center-right think tank, the Tax Foundation says (soon-to-be) Amendment 3: “would shift property tax burdens in highly distortionary ways and make Florida’s tax code far less stable and competitive”
Ossoff: They tried to run Kemp, but he refused. So we're left with the congressman who's only a congressman because his daddy was a congressman and the coach, who's only a coach because his daddy was a coach.
It doesn't matter which one wins . They're both Trump puppets and we'll beat either one of them in November
This is so insanely corrupt, I can’t even believe it.
More than half the donors to Trump’s $400 million White House ballroom just won over $50 billion in new federal contracts in six months.
And here’s the part that should make your blood boil.
Sixteen of these 27 donors were facing federal enforcement actions, antitrust reviews, labor cases, securities charges. Many of those cases have been quietly dropped or scaled back since Trump took office. You write a check, your legal problems disappear. That’s not a coincidence.
The White House won’t even release the full donor list. They’re hiding it on purpose, because daylight is the one thing pay-to-play can’t survive. A federal judge already ruled ballroom construction has to stop until Congress authorizes it.
Government is supposed to serve the people, not auction itself off to the highest bidder. When access goes to whoever pays the most, working families always end up paying the price.
We either end the corruption, or the corruption will end us.

North Port Fire Chief drove 5 hours to Tallahassee to share how (soon to be) Amendment 3 would impact his fire service, which serves over 100k residents.
“Greater than 50% of the revenue required to run public safety in our city would be gone … this would be devastating …”
More than half of the publicly identified donors to President Trump’s White House ballroom project have won new or expanded federal contracts worth more than $50 billion, according to a report from a government watchdog group. https://t.co/wEAqxMA7AG

“The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn’t exist.” - The Usual Suspects
The greatest trick DeSantis ever pulled was convincing Floridians that local government is the problem and state government is the solution.
If your mayor, sheriff, and county commission have to fly to Tallahassee every year to ask permission to fund basic services, the state didn’t shrink government.
It just moved it farther away and gave you less control.
A DeSantis appointee appears to be trying to remove skeptics of the Tampa Bay Rays' stadium deal.
The governor strongly supports using $1 billion in local tax dollars to pay for it. The owner is also a megadonor to his campaign.

"The governor's resolution is silent." The response to questions today from @AllisonTantFL on how fiscally constrained counties will pay for public safety including law enforcement under Gov. DeSantis' property tax cuts proposal.
This Derek Dooley/Brian Kemp corruption story gets worse by the day.
Kemp's company struggled for more than a decade to sell lakefront properties. Then he became governor. Two years later, he sold them to buyers who later received something from the state.
Wow. Absolutely brutal. Graham is toast in November and the hate for the GOP is real
Most Americans are flat out pissed off right now and they should be
I don’t think these politicians realize how angry everyone is until they leave their bubble in DC and face real voters.
🚨 NEW: Exposé reveals that Republican Governor Kemp has been receiving kickbacks from state contracts.
Several Georgia lawmakers are now calling for him to be investigated.
