Thanks to our volunteers working in terrible conditions this afternoon, alongside the @NSWSES and other emergency services, with widespread flooding. It seems the locals were thankful as well. 📷 Engadine #NSWRFS brigade.

The heavy rain will continue for many parts of NSW tonight - and winds will pick up. Some areas may see wind gusts of over 100 kph. Strong winds, coupled with waterlogged ground, increases the risk of falling trees and powerlines. Pic: Bucketty & District #NSWRFS
Circulation forming off the coast continues to bring rain and thunderstorms to #Sydney and the east coast. Strong and gusty winds also along the coast, damaging at times with 95km/hr recorded at #Kiama. This will move south tonight. Monitor warnings: https://t.co/HPKvzoKfSG
If you steal a bottle of water you get fined. If you steal a whole water truck you got to jail. But if you steal all of Australia’s water and sell it to foreign interests, who then sell it back to desperate Australian farmers at twice the price, you get called ‘the Honourable’.

MONDAY MORNING TROT
Paramedics in southern NSW had to deal with a difficult character when attending a patient in the Goulburn region recently.
Just another day in regional NSW for our paramedics.

Anyone in the Wollongong LGA, which is anyone who lives north of Windang Bridge, is now under the same restrictions as Sydney which means:
- no more than 10 visitors per household
- max 10 people in holiday homes UNLESS already rented before Dec 21
- 4 sq m rule reimposed
Up to 50 people may visit another household, although @NSWHealth strongly recommends having no more than 30 visitors at a time if the residence has no outdoor space.
Limiting the numbers of visitors helps everyone maintain physical distancing.
