Ed Cooley is an amazing coach but an even better man. Coaching is simply a profession but what he was able to do for this community was remarkable. Fans can be sad now but I hope at some point down the road they can appreciate what he accomplished and how great of a person he is.

Every day people change jobs every day and more times than not go to a competitor. Just because he coaches at your favorite school or alma matter doesn’t mean you own him. Times change, people change and ultimately he is a (great) human being who wanted a change of scenery.
