Ang Pilipinas ay member ng Interpol. Ang ICC naman ay may cooperation agreement sa Interpol. In short, kapag humingi ng tulong ang ICC sa Interpol na ipahuli ang mga akusado sa korte nila,obligado lahat ng Interpol members worldwide na ienforce ito kahit hindi sila member ng ICC.

Ang pag-aresto kay Teves sa tulong ng Interpol at Timor Leste police force ay magiging halimbawa kung papano aarestuhin si Duterte kapag lumabas na ang kanyang ICC warrant at kapag padadaanin din ito sa Interpol. Ito ay obligation ng isang member State ng Interpol gaya ng Pilipinas. Gaya ng ginawa kay Teves, nung ibinaba ng Interpol ang "red notice" o international warrant of arrest nya sa Timor Leste police, hindi ito nagquestion ng validity of the red notice kundi hinuli agad si Teves.
