Rough day at the office.
Barely had a chance to look at the charts today (fortunately wasn’t planning to trade anyway), as I heard about a new 10 billion-record data breach. Had to write up a blog about it on top up of regular work.
However, I got to pick a senior penetration tester’s brain on the issue. He gave a realistic overview of how concerning these types of mega breaches are, and what you can do to protect yourself.
There are times when I wonder whether I should move full time into the trading space.
And then there are days like this.
9,948,575,739 plaintext passwords breached is just nuts.
Basics like choosing strong, unique passwords, changing your passwords once in a while, and enabling MFA where available go a long way.
If I can do my bit to spread awareness of security best practice, perhaps we can all be a bit safer.

@OliLondonTV This happened 11 years ago and she didn't care. I've seen woman on here say its degrading, yet forget she's there, as a model only, purely because she looks nice. isn't that supposed to be degrading to woman? or is that only what the ugly ones say?
