@stewsnooze@BiscuiteersLtd Hear this quite often about them. Shameless plug for my wife’s business https://t.co/yxzvgu3bkC who always sort the job properly when couriers occasionally lose product. As you say it’s not the customers fault.
BJ is not an idiot and totally understands the difference between the un-ethical waste of culling pigs vs eating them. The most depressing part is that he thinks the British public are so ill informed and thick that they’ll believe him if he says #bacon enough times.
"You're not backing down on offending every pig farmer in the country then?"
Tom Newton Dunn puts Boris Johnson on the spot over his row with pig farmers at #cpc21.

@VOXI_UK - your SIM request form has errored for me for over a year. Today I worked out it’s because you only allow 10 chars for a house name….. really! Works fine if I manually enter a short name. Hope you fix this.
@Worldpay_Global 40mins wasted on calls to you. Cut off twice, whenever you attempt to transfer the call to uk customer services team. I specifically made sure you had my number, and was told ‘Chris’ would call me back immediately... still waiting! #customerservice#fail
Hey @BarclaysUKHelp I can’t quite believe that almost 2 years after my fathers death & my previous complaint CRHM2NZ6NJ where you admitted mistakes, I’m being told to open yet another complaint to get this bereavement case resolved! Are complaints the only way your system works!?
@BarclaysUKHelp Thanks - waiting on a call back from Chris Chamberlin, having called last Wednesday and listened to a customer service rep slowly type every word of an escalation. Told I’d get a callback in 24 to 72hrs. Unsurprisingly no callback. Chased today and was told no record of my call!
I’ve now sent you two hard copies of his death certificate and other documents. Asking me to send a third time because of your errors isn’t reasonable or fair. Do it once and get it right, otherwise you should pick up the cost and hassle of correcting the mistake not me.
As a vet I'm bitterly disappointed Tory MPs voted against protecting #AnimalWelfare in future trade deals.
Further confirmation that Tory promises are not worth the manifesto they're written in.
Animals, consumers, farmers and the environment will all suffer. #AgricultureBill
Government just voted with majority of 53 to strip amendment 16 from #AgricultureBill, which would have safeguarded food standards in trade deals - demonstrating beyond doubt that their promises are totally utterly & completely worthless - even when enshrined in their manifesto👇
Think I may just put this here for future reference : Environment minister @VictoriaPrentis says :
“We are not going to be importing chlorine-washed chicken or hormone-treated beef. That is the law of this land.
I think @LeadByDonkeys may need this soon:
“This Govt is not going to change it under any circumstances and we have said very clearly that in all our trade negotiations, we will not compromise our high environmental protection, animal welfare or food standards.” @VictoriaPrentis
Things Churchill didn't say:
- the Blitz is a hoax
- the Nazis will miraculously be gone by April
- going to a fallout shelter is voluntary; I don't think I'll be doing it
- I don't take responsibility at all
