China fought more wars, & staged more Revolutions, more than the entire continent of Africa. Ruler or no ruler, China remained a semi-capitalist & semi-feudal state.

Then in the 70s & 80s, China began to move away from strict Maoist economy toward a "socialist market economy.” It wasn’t the type of Extreme Capitalism with (IMF & World Bank Characteristics) in Nigeria that saved China.

The man who reformed the Chinese economy was Deng Xiaoping. It is called the “Miracle of Opening up.” It was a type of homegrown socialism with Chinese Characteristics.

Often called the "Architect of Modern China," Deng Xiaoping’s economic reforms lifted hundreds of millions of Chinese out of poverty.

But how did he achieve the Miracle, HOW?

It wasn’t via any “bold reforms,” the man simply dismantled Mao-era collective farming & allowed individual farming families to lease land, meet state quotas, & sell their surplus crops on the open market for personal profit.

He simply allowed private entrepreneurship. Then he invested in scaling up local markets or SMEs. Then he mechanized China & leveraged technology. He created Special Economic Zones, & foreign investments poured in.

He was the one that integrated China into global trade. Now, here is the catch:

“Rather than blindly adopt the IMF’s structural adjustment programs, Deng only used their policies pragmatically (as sources of technical expertise, developmental advice, & project financing to support his Opening Up policy).”

When you study how Deng’s China was able to eradicate “extreme poverty,” then you will realize that Bola Ahmed Tinubu is just fiddling around; the man is just having fun. Peter Obi is the only man better suited to pull Nigerians out the extreme poverty. No one else can do that.
