I’m trying to help this young man, Thabiso Mofokeng from Koppies, Free State, find his late mother’s family. 🙏🏼
His late mother was Nonhlanhla Mkhwanazi (pictured), who passed away in 2003. It is believed that her family is from Empangeni, KwaZulu-Natal.
Thabiso remembers his uncle as Nkosinathi Mkhwanazi, who was believed to be a police officer, as well as two aunts, Thobile Mkhwanazi and Nontobeko Mkhwanazi.
Thabiso has had no contact with his mother’s family since her burial in 2003. He was only six years old at the time.
He is simply hoping to reconnect with his mother’s family and finally get to know the people he has been separated from for more than two decades. ❤️
I’m appealing to the people of Empangeni and anyone who may recognise these names or have information about the family to please come forward.
If you have any information, please send me a DM, and I will make sure it reaches Thabiso.
Please share this widely. Someone in your network may know this family and could help reunite them after 23 years. 🙏🏼
Tweeps My grandmother’s sister has been missing since the 21st of July. Please help my family locate her and she has dementia. We can’t find her anywhere. X is my last resort now 😢
