While I believe a healthier long term eco requires more access and trade options for collectors and new-collectors, in the near term, this is a fantastic signal.
We now have people complaining it's become difficult to complete Popkin Pods or Clayno Herds, which is bullish. Consider that web3 thought expansion=dilution the last 3 years. Now we're being told we don't have enough to go around for the min-maxers.
This isn't perfect or ideal for completionists, as we could have never released a massive supply collection at the time. The digital collector ethos was not mature enough. But we are setting ourselves up to have one of the richest ecosystems, built with depth.
In the future, the ecosystem is built for scale and non-birthright NFTs or Display collectibles are friendlier for completionists. In this case, advantage to those diehards that believed and hunted early. It's a part of the game as you build out the playing field.
