@officialABAT Like it not, as you Bola, I put it you that this is for optics. He cannot not recite Fathia which is major surah while performing solar. All this is for gullible Muslims not informed ones like me. Baba get to work.
@officialABAT Bola, bole n be. I be proper Muslim, all this thing you are doing are the gullible Muslims who prefers Religion to competency &capacity. As a president of 9ja you are father of all and your believe should be personal and to the state thing. 9ja is a circular state. Get to work.
@Omojuwa@seunokin I used to have a huge respect for you, until you started supporting bad govt. It's human to make mistake in life, one would have thought that you would have learnt from it after 8yrs of ur support for Buhari. Why nt come back home and start enjoying the same govt u r supporting
@officialABAT May Allah not accept your prayers because it's for pretence. After your charade in kaduna, the Next to capture the gullible Northerners who prefers Religion over Competence and Capacity Leadership. You are fake, anything to win election. I pray Allah touches your heart for free
@officialABAT It is a different thing to say is the will o Allah while in Mecca and another thing while in Nigeria. Please for Allah's sake. Conduct free and fair election come 2027 devoid of intimidation, harassment, thuggery especially in Lagos and Allow Allah's will to be done.
Tell your principal he was elected to FIX Nigeria, not to go and pray for Nigeria. Our constitution does not recognize a Prayer Warrior-In-Chief of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If prayers alone could fix a nation, Nigeria would be Dubai by now. Tell him not to hide incompetence under spirituality. He should stay in Abuja and get to work before he is sent packing in 2027.

Today, Dayo Israel, an RCCG youth pastor, gave out 20+ brand-new 2026 Toyota Prado Jeeps, each value at 120 million naira, worth over ₦2 billion in total, to APC youth leaders across the nation, courtesy of Pastor Remi Tinubu, a senior pastor of the RCCG, using funds from the nation's coffers, while a parent in Mushin cannot afford a bowl of garri for their child.
In a country where a parent cannot afford a common malaria drug costing ₦2,000 for their child.
In a country where parents cannot afford to pay rent, even in a face-me-I-face-you house in the suburb parts of Ikorodu.
In a country where a university graduate earns ₦30,000 from teaching as the last option.
In a country where 90 per cent of the population lives in multidimensional poverty.
Must we always do this to ourselves?
If a religious leader can turn a blind eye to the suffering of the people, then who are we supposed to trust anymore?
I watched an interview on #PoliticsToday* on @channelstv, anchored by @seunokin, in which the @OfficialAPCNg National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru (@DrSRJ), called me a “skit maker” and “comedian.”
I am presenting here a photograph I took with Ajibola in 1998, when I led the Congress of Progressive Youths (COPY), and we were both in the trenches fighting against military dictatorship.
What eventually happened to COPY offered an early indication of what Ajibola has become today, but that is a story for another day.
His premise is that because Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT was declared "winner" by @inecnigeria in the deeply flawed 2023 presidential election, those of us who contested against him should somehow be ashamed of losing.
Ajibola @DrSRJ came to the University of Lagos after he was expelled from the University of Ilorin in 1992 for student activism.
I received him alongside Kunle Adegoke, popularly known as “K-Rad,” who is now a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN). We provided them with an enabling environment to apply to re-enter the university, gain admission, and study Law at the University of Lagos @UnilagNigeria. Both eventually graduated with flying colours and went on to accomplish great things.
The struggle for justice, democracy, freedom and the preservation of human dignity is neither skit-making nor comedy.
Ajibola knows this because he was once part of that struggle and benefited from the solidarity of those who refused to surrender to military tyranny.
It is unfortunate that he has become so carried away by the fleeting privileges of his current political position that he now ridicules the very struggle that helped shape his own future.
But Ajibola should know better. Political appointments are temporary. Tinubu's regime will come and go, just like the military regimes we confronted in our youth.
The principles we fought for in 1994 remain as relevant today as they were then.
Our commitment to justice has endured for decades and will outlast his present political appointment.
The struggle for freedom is not comedy. What is truly comical is watching yesterday's beneficiaries of resistance become today's defenders of the very oppression they once fought against. #RevolutionNow
