A year after the inauguration of the current Troll of our democracy, I left Twitter. I am proud to say I am back and like my bio says, “I will not be silent.”
Thank you @tinder for giving us the platform to be seen, to be heard and to educate each other. The conversation is an ongoing one...We cannot drop the baton! #swipeleft#liveproud#lgbtqiaa#selflove#itgetsbetter

I felt quite emotional from the last bit of the video, as I began to relate my similar upbringing with theirs and how oppressive and conservative my parents are as well. I'm a 29 years old person and still feel strongly apprehensive in speaking with my parents 'bout my identity.
Ever since our government turned into a puppet show, I've abandoned Twitter. But tear gassing children. Our voices must be heard: No to these atrocities. #NotMyPresident#notoabuse
