Yesterday Earthtastic Gardeners worked with out Tree Lady, Symsi Denson, to plant the beginnings of a small fruit orchard in the Earthtastic Sustainability Lab: elderberry, blackberry, black plum and persimmon. Symsi generously provides trees and expert guidance. @Landstown_ES
School Yard Farm to Table! Earthtastic Gardeners harvested 30 pounds of potatoes and delivered them to the Culinary Club members. Yesterday, the culinary club kids, with the assistance of Chef T, cooked up sweet potato souffle for 800 and served it to all today. @Landstown_ES

Got to visit the gardens at Mount Vernon this weekend and was reinvigorated to teach knowledge that George and Martha Washington shared about the essential skills of growing and cooking your own food. This year's Earthtastic Garden and Culinary Club is expanding for this purpose!
